$22/hr starting Shifletts Inc is looking for one candidate to join our Wenatchee Branch team as an entry-level service technician.
We have been a premier manufacturer and supplier of controlled atmosphere equipment since 1973.
Priding ourselves on a customer first approach, we focus on quality of products and exceptional service.
When customers call, we answer and it's that simple.
We design, distribute, install, train, and support the service of nitrogen generators, carbon dioxide scrubbers, and compressed air systems as well as various other products in the CA/refrigeration business.
Our after sales support has been a catalyst to setting us miles apart from our competitors.

What qualities or skills does a good candidate possess? A good candidate would have basic electrical and mechanical skills.
Being able to read electrical schematics is highly desirable, and having prior knowledge in the CA/refrigeration industry will be a huge plus.
However, the number one thing that makes a great candidate is attitude.
We are looking for high energy, team players with go getter attitudes.
Those who are willing and eager will learn quickly and adapt well, and we can fully embrace that.
What will I be doing/what are my expectations? You will start out by shadowing other technicians performing calibrations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our equipment.
You will be thoroughly trained and required to perform duties to an exceptional level before taking on solo adventures.
Safety and attention to detail will be a key to being successful.
Speed is not as much of a focus as accuracy and quality of work.
You should expect to be in training for multi months, and continue to learn throughout your career.
